How does identity verification work?
alt. uses Stripe Identity so people can verify who they are with an ID (such as a passport or licence) and a selfie.
- We don't store images of your ID in the alt. app
- A verified badge can appear on your account once checks succeed
- Verification helps build trust before you hire or get hired
